I am a proud first-generation student at Colorado State University changing the trajectory of my family’s future. I am a senior double majoring in Hospitality and Event Management and Business Administration with a Concentration in Marketing. These industries are the perfect match for me as I have always had a unique blend of loving to work with people, working with numbers, and sharing my creativity. After graduation in Spring of 2025, I am excited to pursue a marketing or event coordinator position. Event & Engagement Assistant

As an Event & Engagement Assistant with the Colorado State University Alumni Association, I have contributed to the logistical planning and execution of 31 alumni events, accommodating groups of up to 2,000 attendees. My role includes organizing and overseeing four football tailgates and successfully planning and executing two signature CSU events: Young Alumni Weekend and the 2024 Holiday Cooking Class, offered both virtually and onsite. Through this experience, I have honed my skills in event coordination, adaptability, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring high-quality experiences for diverse audiences.

Event Coordinator

As an Event Coordinator for Colorado State University’s El Centro – CRC Office, I planned and executed 14 events aimed at fostering community and a sense of belonging for Latinx students, including study nights, social gatherings, and workshops. I contributed to the successful planning and execution of the Latinx Graduation Ceremony, celebrating 69 graduates and their families. Additionally, I supported marketing initiatives to raise awareness of the office’s mission and services, further enhancing engagement within the campus community. This role strengthened my event planning, cultural competency, and promotional skills.
